You can ask for a (full or partial) refund of your BTC balance if you will no longer use it. To do so, log in to your Bitrefill Account, go to "Account" and click "Get reimbursed".
You have two options to get a refund from your BTC balance:
- Via Bitcoin (Onchain transaction): It has a 0.0004 BTC refund fee. Refunds may take up to 24h.
- Via the Lightning Network: It has a 0.000002 BTC (200 satoshi) refund fee.
Our policy is to accept any legitimate refund request: we do not want to keep your coins if you no longer want to spend them with us. However, for security reasons, note that the refunds are currently limited to $2,000.
Also, we cannot refund payments for less than 0.001 BTC.
We will require you to complete Identity Verification before approving any refund request exceeding this threshold or if we believe that you have been using our refund functionality in an abusive or unintended way.
