You can change your email address yourself in your Account Settings. However, if you signed up using Google or Apple sign-in, a few extra steps are needed first — see below.
-
If you signed up with an email and a password, follow these steps:
- Open the Account tab
- Go to Settings
- Click the Login & Security tab
- Click Change Email next to your current email address
Note: If the Change Email button is greyed out, it means your current email address hasn't been verified yet. Look for the Email verification section on the same page, click Send link to verify your email, then try again.
-
If you signed up with Google or Apple sign-in
If you signed up with Google or Apple sign-in, the Change Email button will be disabled, and you'll see the message: "Your email address cannot be changed. Contact support for assistance."
To change your email, you'll need to follow these steps:- Set a password — Go to Settings → Login & Security and create a password for your account. This is needed because your Google/Apple login will be removed in the next step.
- Contact our support team — Once your password is set, reach out to us and let us know you'd like to unlink your Google/Apple sign-in so you can change your email. We'll take care of it.
- Change your email — After we've unlinked your Google/Apple sign-in, the Change Email button in Settings → Login & Security will become available, and you can update your email yourself.
Please note: After unlinking, you'll log in using the password you created in step 1 (instead of Google/Apple sign-in).
If your email was hacked and you need to change it urgently, please contact our support team immediately so we can help secure your account.
If you're having trouble changing your email or have questions, our support team is here to help.
