What is a non-crypto payment?

  • Updated

A non-crypto payment, also known as a fiat payment, is any transaction made using traditional government-issued currencies, such as USD, EUR, or GBP, rather than cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum.

Examples of Non-Crypto Payments:

  • Credit/Debit Card Payments – Transactions processed via Visa, Mastercard, or American Express or other card issuing companies.
  • Bank Transfers – Direct payments made from one bank account to another.
  • Digital Wallets – Allow you to pay quickly and securely, without having to enter your card details every time (e.g. Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal)
