[INTERNAL] - Can a user's account email be updated? (STRIGA Card)

Bitrefill Card Account

Users can update their Bitrefill Card account email, but the process is longer and involves Striga and the Mighty team.

  1. KYC verification

    • The account should be Striga KYC verified

  2. Initial request

    • When the user asks for an email change, we contact Striga to request a link that allows the user to update their contact details.

  3. User action with Striga

    • Once Striga sends the link, share it with the user.

    • Ask them to confirm once they’ve submitted the updated information.

  4. Striga confirmation

    • After the user confirms, follow up with Striga to check if the information has been updated.

  5. Merging accounts

    • When Striga confirms the update, instruct the user to create a new Bitrefill account with the email they entered in the Striga email update form, then contact the Mighty team to merge the newly created Bitrefill account (with the user’s desired email) with the Striga-verified account.
